Hello,
I am American English teacher and author living in Paris. I specialize in intensive English courses for individuals and small groups, and have provided these services for CAC 40 companies as both an independent and as a subcontractor at two of Paris's leading language schools.

Approach

I match both my teaching methodology and my materials to my students' individuals needs and interests. I have seen students benefit from both repetition-based oral systems and classic text-based, grammar-oriented systems, and I am comfortable mixing these approaches as needed. I take pride in keeping my students interested and engaged throughout what is for most a challenging schedule. One of the ways I do this is to engage my students in topics of most interest to them. Some of the areas in which I have particular expertise include:

Position Sought

Teacher, Intensive English Courses

I am available intensive courses (1 to 5 days) for individuals and small groups. I can provide these courses directly to businesses, or on behalf of a language school.

"In-House" English Coach

I am also available to work directly for your business on a part-time or full-time basis as an in-house English language teacher and coach. I can provide on-site individual/group lessons to staff as well as on-demand asistance with presentations, translations, etc.

Work Status/Authorization

I can work with you as an independent contractor on a Freelance basis, or on CDD. A CDI is also possible if your company is amenable to paying a fee to OMI of around 1.400 euros. Businesses that employ me directly can utilize their DIF for payment.
